The risk is well known; the welded pipeline is dragged into the sea. It breaks and when lifting it from the seabed the sand falls out, causing downtime. Expensive and not necessary. With the Automatic Welding system, the risk of breakage is minimal.

Quality Assurance

The automatic welding system records every weld and the data is available to our client. All welds are executed according to predefined parameters and the welding procedure is certified by a NoBo. As a result, the welds can be checked continuously and individually, enabling us to comply with the highest quality requirements. In addition, the NDT acceptance provides assurance that the weld is in perfect order and ready to withstand even the most severe conditions at sea. We work with a dedicated team of professionals. The welding machine is positioned inside a customized tent which means weather conditions don’t impact production. We always arrive on site fully equipped with certified materials, leaving nothing to chance.
